THE GIRL BEHIND THE LENS

I'm a 27-year old cinematic couples and elopement photographer raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and moved to San Diego a little over 3 years ago. (I LOVE it here!) 

Ever since I photographed my first couples session in college 7 years ago, I became obsessed with capturing couples and being a small part of their journey. Being in a long-term relationship myself (going on almost 9 years!!) has especially inspired me to capture the feeling of nostalgia and playfulness through filmy, cinematic photography.

When I'm not behind the camera or grinding at my full-time corporate job, I'm probably binging tv shows, crafting, shopping at vintage markets, or at a pilates class.

Seeing how couples interact with each other. Capturing the little moments between poses. Every person and relationship story is unique, and I have the unique privilege of witnessing your love first hand. This style allows that opportunity to slow down and document what matters most.

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT CINEMATIC PHOTOGRAPHY

Growing up during the start of Instagram and the peak of Tumblr, I found my peace getting lost in saving photos and sharing my own. At just 13 years old, I spent hours taking and editing photos - dreaming that one day I'd be able to have a job where I could be creative.

Somewhere between re-blogging grainy photos, saving cheesy love quotes, and forcing my friends to model for me, I not only fell in love with how photographs made me feel, but also how I felt taking them.

By being a photographer, I hope to gift my clients that same feeling when they look at their photos.

2015-2017: The blueprint era for portrait photography. This is the era that I truly started to learn how to use a camera and what taking photos actually meant. I'm so grateful for this time in my life and for the opportunities that led me to photography.

My first couples session was in college, cir. 2019! I had only photographed senior sessions and wanted to try something new. I remember having no idea what I was doing but having fun photographing my friends together. Little did I know... :')

fun facts & things that inspire me 

I grew up in Oregon which deeply inspires my work and how I see the world. The PNW will always have my heart <3

i am a capricorn sun, gemini moon, & pisces rising

Since the night we met in college, my partner and I became inseparable. We've been together for 8 years and just got engaged May 2026!

I've dyed my hair over 35 times since 2012, have 20+ tattoos (and counting), and even love to accessorize my teeth with tooth gems.
